4th message in our new sermon series called Open Up the Heavens - Demonstrating the Nature of God Through Prayer.

When prayer is mentioned, many people immediately think of a boring religious activity that makes them sleepy.  But what I am talking about when I say prayer is reaching through the barrier between heaven and earth and touching the supernatural.  

Real prayer causes our soul to resonate with the nature of God.  The closer we get to Him the more our fallen nature takes on His nature. The closer we get to Jesus, the more we are conformed to His image, or the more we become like Jesus. There is no substitute for prayer, yet most Christians do not pray or do not know how to pray.

This Sunday I want to talk to you about one of the greatest privileges God has given us, to connect with Him, and to move mountains through that connection – we call it prayer.

This will be like no sermon you have ever heard before on prayer.  

Join us this week as we talk about connecting with God and the nature of God through prayer.
