This Sunday, April 12th, at 9:00am and 10:30am, we start a new sermon series at First Church of God in LaGrange, Indiana.  

The series is called "Change Your Tongue, Change Your Life." We take for granted our ability to form words, but God has given us this gift for a reason.

 Every human being, and especially the followers of Jesus Christ, has been given authority, and that authority is exercised through the words we speak. This gift of God can be used for good or for evil.  

Proverbs tells us our tongue holds the power of  life and death. The Book of James tells us that the tongue can set the course of our lives. But Jesus taught us that there is  a direct connection between the heart and the tongue.

Understanding this connection is the key  to the atmosphere we live in. Join us this Sunday as we talk about how changing  our tongue can change our lives.

5 minutes reading the assigned chapter in the Bible, 5 minutes thinking about how the chapter applies to our lives, and 5 minutes praying about what we have read.
